Andrew Bass Jr.
Design Strategist
Straight Design is Andrew Bass.
As a Design Strategist, Andrew has spent over
twenty years honing his creativity in the areas of
identity & branding, print media, publication design, and now web & digital design.
He graduated with a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute. Andrew has led various art departments of businesses like Essence Communications, McGraw-Hill, Earl G. Graves, Ltd., CMP Media and Nielsen Business Media (formerly VNU).
His creative solutions has garnered multiple awards from groups like American Society of Business Publication Editors, The Ozzies, American Business Media and GD:USA. His work has been published in Layers magazine and in Rockport’s LogoLounge.
Additionally, Andrew has taught at NYC College of Technology
as an adjunct instructor and has also participated in the
AIGA Mentor program.
